In February 2012 we stumbled on a once in a lifetime opportunity to salvage 250 old growth burls near Lake Quinault on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. These rare specimens, some more than a thousand years old, have ignited spirited conversations at Live Edge about how to best honor and use them. We will be displaying our initial explorations at this year’s Seattle Flower and Garden Show.
